Erzincan Governor Mr. Ali ARSLANTAŞ and Highways 16th Regional Director Mr. Aydoğan Aslan inspected our ongoing works on the Sünebeli tunnel and connecting roads on the Refahiye-İliç route. During the visit to the construction site of the Sünebeli tunnel, our esteemed Governor, along with Mr. Aydoğan ASLAN, the Regional Director of Highways 16th Region in Sivas, Kızılırmak Construction Owner Ahmet KIZILIRMAK, and site managers, discussed the progress of the works. Mr. Aydoğan ASLAN, the Regional Director of Highways 16th Region in Sivas, stated that portal works had commenced as part of the ongoing works on the Sünebeli tunnel and connecting roads on the Refahiye-İliç route, highlighting the ongoing activities including headwall mesh steel, shotcrete, and slope reinforcement works, while also mentioning the ongoing construction of art structures and earthworks from Kuruçay towards Refahiye. Governor Mr. Ali ARSLANTAŞ emphasized that with the completion of the works, transportation would be more comfortable with the tunnels set to be put into service, expressing their aim to complete the Sünebeli tunnel as soon as possible.
