KZK İnşaat AŞ, primarily engaged in contract works in areas such as road projects, dams, ponds, drinking water, building infrastructure, excavation, mining, and similar fields, is involved in various projects across many provinces in Turkey. The company, which continues its investments, accelerates its operations with the addition of the Ammann ABA UniBatch 340 asphalt plant to its machinery fleet. Founded in 1973 by Ahmet Kızılırmak under the name Katarpil İşletmeciliği, the company became incorporated as KZK İnşaat AŞ in 1988 and has been pursuing a planned and steady growth policy since its inception. Continuing to provide services with a wide range of activities, the company has undertaken projects in dam, pond, irrigation, road, drinking water, building, infrastructure, excavation, mining, and similar fields, signing many important projects. Nihat Kızılırmak, one of the company's executives, stated that they have been involved in the construction sector for over 32 years, emphasizing, "Based on the experiences we have gained over all these years, taking confident steps towards the future, with our experienced professional technical staff and successful central management, we feel proud to contribute to the development and progress of our country and to sign new projects, which is our biggest goal as a company." He added that they have successfully completed all the projects they have undertaken to date and approach ongoing projects with the same care. "The knowledge, experience, machinery fleet, and technology we possess are the fundamental elements that enable us to succeed in the projects we undertake. As KZK İnşaat AŞ, we strive to follow technology and make our investments accordingly. Working with a focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and sensitivity to nature and life is our basic mission," said Kızılırmak. Quality and service determine machinery selection Kızılırmak emphasized that they pay attention to two basic criteria when selecting machinery: quality and service structure. "First and foremost, we need to trust the quality of the machine. Even a high-quality machine can experience breakdowns or problems, as it is inherent in the nature of machinery. However, it is stated that the frequency of breakdowns in quality productions is much lower compared to equivalent machines. When a breakdown occurs, the quality of service comes into play. We prefer to work with companies that have a service approach that prevents the interruption of our work by providing spare parts inventory, rapid intervention, and timely service, even in the event of the slightest breakdown," said Kızılırmak. Preference for Ammann in asphalt plant selection Kızılırmak reminded that time is quite important for companies operating in the asphalt sector. "As you know, in road projects, you are in a race against time. Your asphalt plant needs to be continuously operational because it is the most important machine that ensures the operation of other machines in the project. The operational status of the asphalt plant also ensures quality and service support," he said. Stating that they do not have the luxury of waiting or stopping during the project, Kızılırmak said they preferred to work with Ammann for this reason. "Ammann is a brand that meets our needs with its quality and service structure. Even in the smallest breakdown situation, they provide us with the necessary support. So far, we have not experienced any problems or delays due to either service or spare parts. Therefore, we prefer to work with Ammann," he said. Project-specific investment Kızılırmak stated that they have a total of three Ammann asphalt plants in their machinery fleet, consisting of two ABA UniBatch 340s and one Speedy Batch 280. He also mentioned that they will use the ABA UniBatch 340 asphalt plant they recently purchased within the scope of the Gölova Ayrımı – Refahiye (Erzincan State Road Km: 4+000 – 69+000 Earth Works, Art Structures, Superstructure Works (BSK), and Traffic Works Completion Construction) project. Kızılırmak emphasized that their investments will continue and they will continue their efforts without interruption to provide more quality services, especially in transportation projects, in the coming years.
